Tony Beyers

As Redhead’s technology director, Tony always searches for the simplest answer first. He believes that powerful, elegant solutions need not be overcomplicated or overengineered.

With more than two decades of web development experience, Tony leads the diverse range of web-based projects at Redhead. His deep understanding of industry best practices, accessibility standards, and emerging trends leads to web solutions that are not only technically sound, but also innovative and user-centric.

Before joining Redhead, Tony worked in the Michigan State University IT department for 21 years — all that to say, he understands the ins and outs of large-scale web development, particularly when it comes to higher education and MSU standards. Highlights from Tony’s work at Redhead include building websites for the MSU Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Downtown Lansing Inc., and Ovation Center for Music and Arts.

Tony is a graduate of Michigan State University, with B.A. degrees in finance and computer science. In his personal life, he runs a drone photography business. Among his favorite activities are biking, landscape photography, and finding novel ways to tire out his dog, Raffe.
