Downtown Lansing Inc. (DLI) is a nonprofit placemaking organization that promotes economic development, community engagement, and urban planning. DLI’s new brand prioritizes function and accessibility within an energetic, welcoming visual aesthetic. Its logo utilizes bold, angular shapes that nod to a city grid, along with bright pops of color to emphasize the district’s personality.
As part of this rebrand, we also created a comprehensive launch plan to introduce the new brand to the public. Everything from a countdown splash page, to influencer engagement, to community activations with branded searchlights amped up the public about the rebrand, and led them to learn more about the organization and downtown in general.
