Moe Ferland
Moe has been a professional artist for more than ten years.
As a digital media specialist at Redhead, she uses her passion for social justice and visual art to support design work in all of its forms for mission-led organizations. Creating for aesthetics alone doesn't appeal to her; she's drawn to design's potential to connect and help others.
At Redhead, Moe contributes her design skills to everything from in-house passion projects to client initiatives, including Sad Little Town, MSU Alumni Office, and Lansing 5:01. In addition to utilizing her artist eye for design work, you can find Moe lending a hand at Redhead's sister business, Nelson Gallery.
Moe graduated from Michigan State University with a B.F.A in graphic design. She became a professional artist at the age of 16, with experimental typography and mixed-media installation as some of her favorite media. After initially planning to become a large-animal veterinarian working with draft horses, Moe quickly realized that pursuing her creativity was her true path.
Beyond the office, Moe is a powerlifter, cat mom, and garden guru. She is currently channeling her aesthetic sensibilities into the renovation of a 1980s condo.
