The Michigan Children’s Savings Account Network, a coalition led by the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM), consists of 17 programs across the state focused on helping students save for postsecondary education through Children’s Savings Accounts (CSAs). To address programs’ capacity challenges, we created a comprehensive CSA Program Communications Toolkit, consisting of 94 ready-to-use materials (pre-written messaging, design templates, how-to guides, a badge, and even a mascot).

We also developed a 41-page research report exploring audience barriers to CSAs, and how programs can work to overcome these. This was based on original research via focus groups and surveys with 1,100+ parents, partners, and school leaders.
