A visual brand and voice to unite residents and inspire them to build a future in one of Michigan’s up-and-coming cities.

Research meets personality

Starting with little to no branding, the City of Mount Clemens sought a visual brand and messaging that would honor both its past and future. To start, we surveyed locals to identify shared community values around which the brand would be centered: the city's arts scene, inclusivity, and history.

The final visual brand and voice included a logo that paid homage to the Clinton River, as well as a flag, print templates, and even a mascot. We also outlined a detailed launch plan to introduce the new brand to the public, sparking a positive reception and city pride.

Not only did commissioners look favorably on the flag, they discovered this may be the city’s first official flag.
