A fresh persona for a strong reputation

RWC Advocacy, a full-service, bipartisan government affairs law firm, sought a new brand after undergoing organizational changes. Having developed a solid reputation over its 33 years in the policy sector, the firm needed a new name, brand, and digital presence that could uphold its trustworthy, hard-working reputation while offering a fresh persona that reflected its current team and services.

Paying homage a legend

We began by analyzing where the visual brand would need to apply seamlessly, as well as how it would balance with the firm’s new name. The new name for the organization, McCall Hamilton, honors Michigan’s first woman legislator, Eva McCall Hamilton. From there, we created a new brand platform and visual identity to represent the organization’s credible, creative personality and values, with an elevated air of sophistication. The final brand included a versatile mark evoking symbolism and a historical nod, which the client was able to utilize for branded materials, from umbrellas to their office’s wallpaper.

Digitally cohesive and visually consistent

With this rebrand, we also built a new content management website along with an updatable news section, allowing the firm’s team to add the latest policy updates on their own. The final website offered a unified, cohesive digital presence for McCall Hamilton that simplified complex information in an accessible manner that was visually consistent with their new brand. Across written materials including the website, the brand platform and brand book articulated McCall Hamilton’s driven and confident tone of voice, establishing cohesion across all materials and further solidifying the firm’s identity.
